Secondary Referencing
You need secondary references when you are extracting a particular reference from a larger work such as a textbook. For example, a discussion of infantile memory (from Chapter 4) needs to be referenced like this: Bauer, 2002, as cited in Myers, 2007.
If the reference is longer than 40 words: Bauer, 2002, as cited in Myers, 2007 (p.164)...
